Greetings Rovers fans! 

Welcome to another edition of our Rovers news update! We appreciate your ongoing support and enthusiasm for all things Rovers. As we gear up for an action-packed weekend, both our senior and junior teams are set to take the field this weekend. 

Join us for a slice of fun at our pizza night following junior training this Wednesday. Stick around, grab a bite to eat.  Plus, for our junior players, after Wednesday’s training, you’ll find out which team you’ve been assigned to.

Jake and the incredible team from The Hurlocker Fitness are here each week with their weekly fitness training sessions. Mark your calendars for every Wednesday at 4:45 PM to gear up for a 5 PM start. This is not just an opportunity to get fit but a chance to make the most of your time while your kids are in training.  For the unbeatable price of $10 per session, you can join in on the fitness fun. Payment can be made conveniently to one of our dedicated committee members. It’s the perfect way to stay active, healthy, and involved with the Rovers community.

A round of applause goes to CFN Fusion for their stellar victories over the weekend at the Bulls Masters Country Challenge.  Plus a very big thankyou to those that helped setup and served in the canteen over the weekend, it is very much appreciated.

PLAYERS ACHIEVEMENTS

During the school holiday, Ian de Lange participated in the Century Cricket T20 Tournament, representing the Coastal Marlins. Throughout the tournament, Ian demonstrated his skills by taking a total of 6 wickets with an impressive economy rate of 7.58. While predominantly batting at the tail, he managed to score 48 runs at a strike rate of 80. The tournament provided a valuable learning experience for Ian, allowing him to make new friends along the way.

Congratulation CFN Fusion in particular Rovers players – Andrew Phelps, Brenton Edwards and Henry King on their performances in the Bulls Masters Country Challenge on the weekend.  They are off to the Grand Final at the Gabba on 27th December.  Well done Fusion!!
