Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Rovers news update!

We’re thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all juniors and seniors to join us for this week’s training sessions. The action will take place at Endeavour Park, and we’re eagerly anticipating your presence. It’s a fantastic opportunity to hone your skills and be part of the Rovers team.

Attention parents of juniors: we have a our weekly fitness sessions planned for Wednesday. This is a wonderful chance for you to get active alongside your kids and bond over some healthy activities. Please remember to bring $10.00 if you’d like to participate in this session.

Mark your calendars for Saturday afternoon at 1pm as we gear up for our first practice match, a Senior intra-club game, at GP2. The match will span 35 overs, and the final team list will be announced during Thursday’s training session. It’s an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and teamwork.

But that’s not all! Saturday afternoon is also our junior sign-on day and BBQ, starting at 3:30pm at GP2. We’re looking forward to seeing all our juniors and their families there. Don’t forget, we’d love to have you join us not only on game days but also throughout the week for training and preparation.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

Great news, everyone! Registrations are now open for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.

A big thank you to all those who have already registered. We’ve seen a fantastic response with many registrations already coming in. However, we’ve noticed that there are still a few players whose names are missing from the list. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the special savings we’re offering, so we’ve decided to extend our early bird special until Wednesday, August 30th. After this date, our new prices for the 2023/2024 season will be set.

By registering before the 30th of August, you’ll be eligible for a $50 discount on your registration fee. This early registration is incredibly important as it helps us effectively manage player numbers, determine the right number of teams and junior coaches needed, submit team nominations, and organize preseason training. We kindly ask for your support in this matter by completing your registration as soon as possible.

• Parents of junior players who are unsure about their tier should consider registering in the same tier as the previous year.
• For families planning split payments, please reach out to the committee via email before registering so we can provide assistance.
• New to the club?  Feel free to send an email to the committee, and we will be more than happy to guide you in selecting the appropriate tier for your registration.
