Welcome back to Cricket!
After a week off from regular club cricket while Cairns hosted the Queensland Country Men’s Challenge, we are back into it this week with our senior grades and juniors all taking to the field.
It will be great to see plenty of Rovers colours back out around the grounds!
If you haven’t registered for the season yet, please make sure you get your registration completed ASAP so you are ready to play.

We are also kicking off the week with Pizza Night at Endeavour Park on Wednesday 7th October, straight after junior training. Giants Pizza will be available for purchase, so stick around, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a relaxed evening with your teammates and Rovers families.
Good luck to all our teams this weekend — enjoy your cricket and Go Rovers!
With our first senior team selections approaching, this week is a timely reminder about how we respond to selection decisions.
Not every player will get the team or opportunity they were hoping for. As parents, families and teammates, one of the best things we can do is encourage players to respond positively, keep working and look for ways to improve.
Selection is one moment in a season — development is the bigger picture.
Let’s back our players, trust the process and keep building a strong club culture together.
CFN INFORMATION
Rovers Representing CFN U15s
Great to see a strong Rovers contingent in Mackay representing Cricket Far North in the U15s.
Well done to Caleb, Ashton and Travis, along with Brodie and Simon as Assistant Coaches.
A fantastic opportunity for the boys, and great to see Rovers represented both on and off the field.
